Welcome to the home of the Adelaide Vikings Water Polo Club
The Adelaide Vikings Water Polo Club is situated in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide and caters for boys, girls, men and women.
The club fosters the development of water polo across a very broad age group. It run teams in U14, U17 and Open competitions, for
both men and women, and is developing school competitions for primary aged children. We encourage and welcome parent
participation in an effort to provide a family friendly environment.

MAJOR CLUB ACHIEVEMENT
Since the clubs inception in 1997 we have shown a fantastic overall success by winning the SAWPI Club of the Year on 11 occassions.
Great teams, hard working committees and supportive families have help us to dominate this award for so long.

CLUB PLAYERS
Vikings have lots of teams in the local competition. We have won Club of the year for past few years because we have an enthusiastic club, enthusiastic coaches and enthusiastic players. Come and join in!

ELITE PLAYERS
Vikings have several players in Australian squads, South Australian teams, the SA National League team, SASI squads and have enjoyed unparalleled success in SAWPI leagues.

COMMITTEE
As the season commences September 1st the Annual General Meeting is held in August and it is at this meeting that positions on
the committee are determined.
Parents and players are encouraged to attend the AGM and be involved on the committee.
Club meetings are held monthly and guest to these meetings are welcome.

TEAMS
At the monthly Club meetings Vikings teams for the various SAWPI State League competitions are discussed and entered.
A critical element in having a successful team is the communication to players and the Team Manager is engaged to undertake this role.
